Photography

Background: I have photographed as an assignment photographer for National Geographic (Gelada Monkeys Feature and Proof, Conservation Drones), BBC Natural History Unit, and published photos and video in Wired, GEO, The Atlantic, and in several news outlets and television series.

Honors: In 2017, my work was shown at Visa pour l'image: International Festival of Photojournalism at Perpignan and was winner of the Banff Mountain Film - Mountain Photo Essay Grand Prize, and category prizes and honorable mentions at Por el Planeta, Mexico City, various science photography events.

In 2018 I returned as a judge for the Banff Mountain Film - Mountain Photo Essay Competition.

Talks: I deliver photo talks on wildlife and science to diverse audiences and venues, with past presentations at National Geographic Headquarters in Washington DC (Explorer’s Festival and Nat Geo Nights), the Telluride Mountain Film Festival, the Northern Ireland Science Festival, as well as being a keynote speaker at Photofest 2019 in San Miguel, Mexico. Upcoming talks include the Natural History Museum of Denmark (April 2022).
